I was truly delighted to finally see strawberries available for purchase at the grocery last night. They were sour with a hint of sweetness.
Winter in Japan is coming in two months and I am reminded of ichigo daifuku--mochi stuffed with fresh strawberries and red bean paste. Riki is fond of eating them. It would be nice if I could also make some.♪
