Among the popular female-oriented applications for smartphones is this before-and-after sleep aid "Shuukan Soine Kareshi" by Visualworks. It is based on a series of otome CDs by Black Butterfly aimed to help ladies relax through the caring words and sweet voices of characters brought to life by premier voice actors. The application also acts as a mobile alarm.

My character of choice is Kakeru who is featured in the first volume and voiced by Hirakawa Daisuke. He is the gentle and patient type, and a fairytale writer whose loving words can surely rejuvenate any listener in preparation for a good night's sleep.
