"Last Vacation" is the first otome visual novel by facades from the Lemma Soft Forums. It is one of the simplest yet sweetest game out there.

Plot: For her last summer vacation before heading to the professional world, Yumi visits her convivial aunt in the countryside. She is taken to a restaurant where she meets three bothers who are helping one another run their family business.

Among the siblings, Kenichi is the eldest and is a hard working gentleman. The cool and a little straightforward cook, Daisuke, is the same age as Yumi. Hikaru, the 15-year old brother, trains as a waiter and can be very timid and aloof. Some time to unwind is what she needs, but can Yumi find something better in the peaceful and refreshing countryside?

Title: Last Vacation
Developer: facades
Platform: PC (Mac, Linux, Windows)
Style: Visual novel
Playthrough: 5-15 minutes
Cost: Free

Graphics: ☆☆☆ (Simple sketches and colors suit this light game.)
Story: ☆☆☆☆ (The plot may be quite simple, but it's pretty interesting.)
Characters: ☆☆☆☆ (Besides being dearly pleasant and affectionate, all of the boys have their own depths.)

Moe Factor: The story is supposed to be set in Japan; thus, there is an abundance of Japanese words.
All three brothers are nice, warm and welcoming.

Shotacons (those who have a preference for adorable young boys) will enjoy their time with Hikaru.

Miladyness Says...: The guys are all good-natured and friendly, but I went for Kenichi. He's a real sweetheart!

Towards the end, there was no disappointment choosing the eldest brother. A man who is kind to and loves being with children is certainly very attractive.

Upon taking all the routes, I noticed that there's a common setting--the library. Could it be that the developer herself is fond of reading books? :)

This game being really short and having dreamy, well-written dialogues made me like it. Romantics will surely find this game amusing, as well!
