Weeks ago, I watched Tokyo Kawaii TV's Valentine's Special and a portion of the show presented couple-coordinated fashion. There was even a little game where Sawamura-san, BENI and their guest had to guess who among the four girls and four boys were couples, basing on their outfits.
It's really nice that apart from couple shirts--which I think are popular among pairs the world over-- some Japanese couples go the extra mile by making sure that when they go out together, their clothes are nicely coordinated. How creative and sweet at the same time! ^_^
Tokyo Graffiti's "Tokyo Street Fashion" compiles fashion snapshots according to themes. They have albums for style images taken in Harajuku, Shibuya, Akihabara, and other famous clothing districts in Tokyo. They also have an album exclusively for couples!
How about this Spring-Summery couple? The guy's shirt is patterned; the girl's dress is, as well.
This is pretty easy--they're both wearing denim. ♥
Have you considered wearing coordinated outfits when you go out for a date with your significant other?
